Care Home for the Elderly (Reus)

Sharing the same site, which occupies the Health Centre ‘CAP Marià Fortuny’, is placed in care home assisted residence for seniors with capacity for 72 beds divided into 36 double rooms. The ground floor houses the daycare center and an extension of the existing primary health center.

The functional program is very diverse and includes different uses, such as consultations, kitchen with dining room, bedrooms and the relevant technical areas.

Constructively it is a building that combines two systems: the traditional construction ‘in situ’ and fabricated.

The basement and the floor along with the nuclei of the stairs is a concrete structure with reticular ceilings. Both these floors are built with a modular precast company ‘Compact Habit’.
